Point Lynas Lighthouse
Point Lynas Lighthouse was built in 1835 – replacing 1n earlier pilot station and light from 1766.
The original pilot station was established to to guide ships entering and leaving Liverpool and was replaced by a light and an 11m castellated tower designed by Jesse Hartley, an engineer with the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board.
The light was automated in 2001 and the associated buildings are now holiday cottages.
Amlwch Port
Porth Amlwch is a small port village on the eastern edge of the Anglesey town of Amlwch.
