Attingham Hall and Parklands
Attingham Hall is a Grade I Listed English country house set in parklands near the village of Atcham, Shrewsbury.
Build in 1785 for Noel Hill, the 1st Baron Berwick and a former MP for Shropshire, the house is set in 8,000 acres of park land. The house is now owned by the National Trust.
Unfortunately, at the time we visited, access was restricted to only the park lands.
About ‘staycation’
These images form part of a mini-series called ‘staycation’.
Staycation is a mini Covid-19 series that features trips to local tourist attractions, often National Trust properties, that represent an alternative to holidays away – as these have been curtailed by Covid-19 restrictions.
