About Bletchley Park
Photographs from a visit to Bletchley Park at the end of November 2023. Previously aware of the existence and some of the role of Bletchley in World War Two, but interest in Bletchley was heightened by the 2014 file, The Imitation Game, about the mathematician Alan Turing and the battle to break the the Enigma code. And, of course, the significant amount of unsung heroes who also worked there without recognition- the majority of whom were women,
But, probably, the most surprising part of the day was learning about the role carrier pigeons still played in World War Two!
