Lanhdrock House and Gardens
Lanhdrock House is a Grade I listed building set in nearly 900 acres of grounds, which include formal gardens and Lanhydrock Church.
Much of the building dates from Victorian times and was designed/renovated by the architect Sir George Gilbert Scott – incorporating the few parts of the original 1620s building that survived a major fire in 1881.
Lanhydrock house, which was the home of the Agar-Robartes since seventeenth century, is now managed by the Nation Trust.
