A series of history themed talks set in of two historic Shropshire houses, Pitchford Hall and Stokesay Court. These pictures are from a visit (on a grey, wet day) to Pitchford Hall.
Pitchford Hall and Estate
Pitchford Hall is Grade I listed building and the Pitchford Estate is first referred to in the Domesday Book (1081–86). The hall, as it stands today, was built in 1560s by Shrewsbury wool merchant, Adam Ottley.
