Post-Covid Staycation
We visited The White House, Munslow, in May 2022 and these images represent a new stage in the Staycation series – a Post-Covid period where many of the legal obligations have been replaced with Covid Safe guidelines.
Millichope Park
Millichope Park is a Greek-Revival building, with six Ionic pillars supporting its front portico
Built in 1835, Millichap Park is Grade II* listed house build in the Greek Revival style by architect Edward Haycock of Shrewsbury. The house is set in 220 acres of landscaped parkland, which includes a memorial temple (also Grade II* listed) – a cenotaph to the More family.
We visited on the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend but, unfortunate, there was some confusion as to whether the nursery and tea rooms – set in the walled garden -were open for the Motional garden Scheme weekend.

Staycation…
These images form part of a mini-series called ‘staycation’.
Staycation is a mini Covid-19 series that features trips to local tourist attractions, often National Trust properties, that represent an alternative to holidays away – as these have been curtailed by Covid-19 restrictions.
