About The Township Project...View The Township ProjectGet in touch...

On the weekend of 29th and 30th September 2018 a rail replacement service (bus) was provided between Hereford and Shrewsbury stations to allow work to replace the tracks running thorough Craven Arms.

The works also resulted in the northbound Heart of Wales lines trains being able to pick up passengers on the northbound platform – rather than the southbound platform as had previously been the case (before crossing to the northbound track towards Shrewsbury).

These pictures form part of the Township Project – a focus on Craven Arms, Shropshire.

About Township…

The Township Protect is my record of the recent changes and evolution of the Shropshire town of Craven Arms  – once known as Newton Township.

These images represent and uncurated collection of images. At the end of the project, I will curate a collection of photographs that, when considered together, best represent the project.
